The National Sailing Academy (NSA) Summer Fun Day takes place on Sunday 28th August, the perfect celebration to end the Summer Holidays. The day starts at 11am and brings together our three big favourite events – a fun regatta, car treasure hunt and dock party. If you are spectating or liming, entry is free, and the bar will be open from 11am.

For sailors wishing to take part, it’s a great tune up race for the Caribbean Dinghy Championship (CDC) Qualifiers which will take place on Sunday 11th September, with the CDC taking place in St. Maarten from 21-23 October. For the fun regatta classes will include Opti & Tera, RS Zests, RS Fevas, Laser and big boat (RS Ventures, RS Visions and Laser 3000). One lucky person will win a Locman Italy watch as well as back-to-school vouchers from Office Xpress as part of the prize giving at 3 pm.

The long-awaited 3rd edition of the Car Treasure Hunt starts from 11am. Hunters can choose to leave anytime between 11 am and 1 pm with the hunt taking about 90 minutes. The start and finish are at the National Sailing Academy, and once completed answers will be marked by our judges. Prizes will be awarded as part of the prize giving at 3pm. Until then the bar is open and the grill will be fired up. There will also be prizes for the best fancy dress costumes whether hunters, sailors or spectators.

After prize giving, party band 1761 will be live on the dock and everyone is invited to come down and enjoy the lime.

Regatta: to enter whats app or call 780-1345 – Adults EC$50/ youths EC25 – registration at 11am with a briefing at 11.30am and the race starts at 12.00pm.

Treasure hunt: to enter www.nationalsailingacademy.org/treasurehunt  $95 per car – starts from 11am to 1pm so that everyone will be back by 3pm for the prize giving.

All funds raised on the day will go towards the youth sailing programme.
