Sunday March 30 - The National Sailing Academy’s Annual “Dingy Dash” Fundraiser was a resounding success, with EC$14,250 dollars being raised for the Academy’s free school sailing initiative and sailability, the Academy’s adaptive sailing program. Five youth and three adult teams competed in a Sailing, kayaking and swimming relay that was hotly contested and resoundly cheered by all in attendence.
National Sailing Academy Manager, Alison Sly Adams commented “We are incredibly grateful for the support of the sailors onboard super yachts Adela, Gitana, the kids who participated, the prize sponsors and all who came out for an afternoon of sailing and community building. A good time was definitely had by all”. Team Epic won the youth class and Team Gitana won the adult class.
