Ozani Lafond, a student from originally New Bethel Primary then All Saint’s Secondary School , developed a passion for sailing from age 8.

With the support of his family, he began sailing and soon developed skills and interest in racing. Having started briefly at the NSA, he transitioned to the AYC Racing Programme and has since sailed between both programmes.

This year he has represented Antigua in a number of events regionally and internationally.

Antigua ILCA Nationals 2025 - 2nd

Junior PANAM Games held in Paraguay in August - 4th
CAC (Central American & Caribbean) Games in August - 6th

CSA Caribbean Dinghy Championships in October - 1st

We are very lucky to have Ozani as part of our talented instructor team. We look forward to being along side Ozani as he develops his career further in the industry
