As the New School year begins so does the school year at the National Sailing Academy. The strapline is "Inclusive Sailing" and that really does mean all ages, all genders, all abilities are welcome. For anyone wishing to get involved here is a quick summary of what will be happening for the next few months:
Sailability returns each weekday morning – Adele School, the Victory Centre, Friends of the Care Project and the Rehabilitation Centre will be back along with our community outreach programme. If you know someone who is differently-abled whether intellectual challenged or with limited ability get in touch to discuss further.
The schools programme is coming back online today with the return of Clare Hall Secondary School and next week each afternoon. For anyone whose child is not in a school that attends the NSA but who wishes to learn to sail we have group sailing on Saturdays – Saturday Sailing which is free for all students up to the age of 18. RS Zests, RS Fevas, RS Ventures, RS Visions, Hobie 15’s, RS Teras, Optimists, Hansas and Lasers all available.
Learn to Sail Courses – a variety of course from Youth Sailing Scheme Stages 1-4, RYA Dinghy Learn to Sail Levels 1-3, Sailing with Spinnakers and Seamanship Skills, RYA Keelboat and RYA Multihull.
Individual courses start from US$250/EC$675 with discounts available for group bookings. Casual sailing lessons are also available from US$50 for one lesson, US$120 for 3 lessons and special rates on Sundays for locals.
Moonlight Kayak – The next Sunset to Moonlight Kayak will take place starting at 5.15 pm on Monday 17th January.
Coming Soon – our first Fun Regatta – with RS Zests, RS Fevas, Lasers, RS Ventures and Hansas.
