Learn to sail or hire dinghies, kayaks or SUP’s at the National Sailing Academy which is now open on Sundays from 10am and therefore operating 7 days a week.
Sailing is a fantastic sport and needs no qualification to start other than water confidence. Apart from the learning to sail it helps build confidence, fitness and critical thinking skills and as an outdoor and sometimes solo endeavor is the perfect socially distanced activity.
The NSA is an inclusive sailing school open to children, youths and adults of all abilities. A hoist can ensure physically challenged children and adults can access the boats. The fleet includes Hansa 303’s and RS Venture Connects which are adapted for people who have limited physical capacity but who can still enjoy a fantastic sail.
Courses and lessons must Be booked in advance and equipment hire also to avoid disappointment although they welcome walk ins.
Mask wearing is essential on site and if on board with someone other than a family member.
